“Sixteen Mill Bakehouse creates the best gluten free pastries that I have tried! I have only eaten GF for about 3 years, and I can also say this is one of the best bakeries I have visited period (GF or not). The flavors were beautiful and complex, the presentation was lovely, the service was great, everything was perfection! I ordered a few things for pickup before my flight from Chicago and planned my free time that day around trying their pastries, it didn't disappoint! The matcha latte was also delicious (a lot of other places I tried on my trip were overly sweet). I also love that they use primarily organic ingredients, no refined sugar, and support other small businesses by using their products. The day that I visited I was able to discover and pick up some amazing coffee from Pitara as well as a tumeric elixir from Anjali's Cup (her chai was also wonderful). What an amazing spot, the only downside is that I can't visit often. I even picked up one last Sixteen Mills pastry from Matchaful before my flight home as I couldn't make the trip to Brooklyn a second time. Thank you for such a treat! Please don't miss their "pumpking" donut right now!”

“I am gluten free and dairy free so as you can imagine there are not many options out there. Sixteen Mill is amazing! The fact that their products are gluten free, vegan and no refined sugar sets them apart from most of the bakeries I know. My absolute favorite thing to buy is the babka muffin . Friendly staff and cozy vibes! Next time you are in Brooklyn , head over there! With regards to the picture, a second after snapping it I gobbled one of these donuts up! So goooooood! P.S. And they delivered it right to me!”
