“Shockingly good spot -- don't judge it from the outside Honestly, this place is the definition of don't judge a book by its cover. From the outside it looks a little run-down, and inside there's only two small tables, so I wasn't expecting much. But the guy working there is one of the nicest people I've ever met at a food spot. I had no idea what to order, so he just said, "Don't worry, I'll whip something up for you." Bro... he brought out this hero on the crunchiest, freshest bread I've ever had -- stuffed with chicken, tomato, pesto, and some kind of cheese magic. Easily one of the best sandwiches I've had in NYC. My friend wasn't even hungry and only wanted dessert. He didn't like what they had premade, so the guy literally made him a whole new dessert on the spot. Like who does that anymore? The food was amazing, the service was even better, and the whole vibe felt super personal and genuine. If you want a low-key gem where the owner actually cares about what he's serving, this is the spot. Absolutely five stars. I'm definitely coming back.”
